Why You Give: 2020 Projects

We've had a number of outreach projects for both the Philippines & our neighbors right here in Middle Tennessee.

COVID-19 Pandemic - Assistance to Families

FAAT provided food and needed supplies to 15 families in  Barangay Sto. Cristo, Bago bantay Quezon City.  Each familiy was provided with:

  • 5 Pound Bag of Rice
  • 6 Canned Goods
  • Instant Coffee
  • 3 Cases of Instant Noodles
  • 2 Bars of Soap

As you can see - these are very needy families.

Orphanage Reconstruction

The FAAT donated funds toward the reconstruction of the Nazarene Orphange located in  Old Kawayan Tacloban, Leyte, Philippines.  This orphanage is home to nearly 40 children and sustained major damage during Typhoon Ursula requiring it to be completely rebuilt.  See some photos of the children & Sister Helen.

School Roof Reconstruction

A school in Mindoro had its roof completely damaged in a typhoon.  FAAT donated to replace the entire roof.  Stay tuned for updates as construction gets underway!

Tornado Cleanup

After a terrible tornado touched down in Nashville & Middle TN in March 2020 - FAAT jumped in to volunteer alongside Hands on Nashville to help our neighbors clean up and begin to rebuild their lives.
